Pulaski, NY - Day 3

Third day here, we drove down to the Salmon River Falls, which is the most popular attraction in Altmar and only 5 minute from the house. Last time we were here, people were allowed to stand 15 feet from the edge of the falls and I was really glad that they still allowed this.

There was a very steep trail that led down to the bottom of the falls, but it was worth it for the really  good views. You could get within about 100 feet of the bottom of the falls and feel the water in the air.

The top of the falls give a great view from the front and side! There was some graffiti of people's initials, and a carving from 1956.

Continuing to walk on the main trail of the falls leads to a great forest walk we took 10 years ago, nothing much has changed and I remember many parts of it. Got pretty steep and muddy near the end but was great!
