Boldt Castle Part 2


After seeing the playhouse, we walked around and then went to see the building that was formally used as a powerhouse and supplied the water to the castle. 




Loved this old fountain that was most likely here since the 1900s!
 









There were also a lot of passages open on the sides of the castle that led to an underground passage that went around the castle.









They were currently working on renovating a pool there, where a lot of people had thrown coins. 



I didn't take too many pictures of the interior of the house since my camera battery was very low, but I loved the stained glass and little touches. 








There was an Italian garden there too! The statues were really great to see among the plants and flowers.





Upstairs, the rooms were mostly unfurnished and in ruin, but this old map was hidden on one of the walls.
