Coney Island Beach & Boardwalk

Today we took a walk through Coney Island for a bit, then on to the boardwalk and beach on the way back. It's off season so there's hardly anyone around the rides and stores, which are all closed up.

Nathan's looks like the only restaurant open on the strip! I always am amazed by how much I love the neon signs that are on it. The smaller on is on the right side near the bathrooms.

Can't wait to go back in the summer to get some shrimp on the boardwalk, which I've never actaully had at Coney Island.

The old Child's Restaurant, which has been restored and fixed up very nicely lately, it looks a lot more colorful. The restoration is actaully huge when you look at some of the older pictures of it.

This was after we reached the end of the boardwalk, it went right into Sea Gate. The walk along the beach was one I've never done before, and at the very end of the beach the water looked like it got incredibly close from the angle we were at.

The pier and all of the people who were fishing off it.

A huge amount of birds hanging around getting fed around the Thunderbolt ahha.

William's Candy, a place I've been dozens of times. Will make sure to go back next time, since it's been more than a few months.
