February 2017

Here's a post with a summary of some notable things that happened February, 2017.

Went to the famous Economy Candy in the Lower East Side for the first time, didn't buy anything but loved the interior and huge selection they had.

After a day visiting the garden, went for a walk along one of the Jamaica Bay beaches on a windy day.

One of the big snow storms of February! After shoveling, went for an evening walk in Prospect Park in the snow.

Visited Trinity Church again by Wall Street, but this time checked out the cemetery on the other side of the church.

Right before Valentine's Day, we visited Schmidt's Candy in Queens, a somewhat long train ride but very worth it. The interior was so old-school, everything from the decoration to the displays. Got a medium sized box full of a variety of candies.

Took a walk around Union Square to take some pictures.

Some pics of the babes.

A great sunset walk along the water and along one of the piers I've never seen .

For my brother's 18th birthday we got a cake at the bakery in Cobble Hill that was really tasty. Also stopped at the great Court Pastry Shop, which has the best Italian rainbow cookies maybe ever.

Library stop + a Prospect Park walk in the cold and Fluffy's birthday homemade bacon treats.

And a very foggy day on the Manhattan Bridge, some of the best and most unique times to go over bridges and take photos.
