March 2017

March was a pretty good month! Got out to a lot of different places, most that I've already been to but explored a few new ones. Pretty much everything we baked this month came out really good too.

Washington Square Park is always the most pretty at sunset, I love the arch but still thinks it pales in comparison to the one in Grand Army Plaza.

A walk by the beach by the bridge, first time being here in a long time. It's a really nice stretch of beach with a few things washed up that seem like they came from Death Horse Bay, like bottle caps.

Had a really nice walk along the Brooklyn Bridge, it's been a few months. Also watched a great documentary on the bridge a few days later.

Stopped by the Magnolia in the Village, I've never been to that (original) location before!

A nice snow in Prospect Park.

A pretty freezing day and walk by the Red Hook waterfront by Fairway. The trolley is something I always love to see over there.

The Admirals Row is sadly all gone now, this is the only building remaining.

A beautiful sunset after walking by the Brooklyn Bridge Park and DUMBO.

Trip to Dead Horse Bay! It was a great day to go, hardly any people there because of the cold.

Another Manhattan Bridge walk, and view of DUMBO from the bridge.

The Dime Savings Bank, Juniors, and Brooklyn Music School.

Walked for the first time ever along some of 1st Ave, passed this wild looking statue by the United Nations.

Walk through some of Central Park past the carousel, fountain, and water.

The always pretty Litchfield Villa in Prospect Park.

Some shots of the desert looking roads around the FBF garden.

And back to Dead Horse Bay, further down this time.

Some shots of around Park Slope on one of the few rainy days.

And after that, going to Coney Island down to the end of the boardwalk.

Very foggy boat ride to Red Hook, blessed with the NYU ferry so that the windows were clean and easy to take pictures from.

Cold and rainy end to the month, but also with cookies.

Things we baked this month: Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Chocolate Cream Pie, Chocolate and Peanut Butter swirl brownies
