Spring in Prospect Park + Bridges

Today was such a nice day to walk around in Prospect Park, it was even a little too warm and a lot of people were in the park. I wanted to make a post about some of the bridges that are in the park, and there are a few included here.

What I think is a hawk (?) in one of the trees in the park. I always enjoy seeing the big birds in and around the park.

Thanks to Forgotten New York, I found out some of the official names of these. The above is Nethermead Arch. There is a patch you can take on the other side if you want to see that trail and the bridge below.

This is Boulder Bridge, a bridge I haven't actaully been under in years. It feels like you're in the middle of the woods when you walk around this one.

Past the boathouse, one of my favorites, Terrace Bridge. The year numbers on either side of the bridge are something I haven't noticed before. This is one of the most unique ones in the park to me, I wish the park would take better care of it!

Some details on the top of the Terrace Bridge. You can see the detail of the texture on it. I also really love the shapes cut out of it.
