April 2017

Some images and things that I did during April, this post is late but I finally got around to finishing it. Some of the notable things are: the cherry blossoms on Governors island, spring photos from the park, and going to Cape May, NJ for my birthday.

Some pictures from the Vale of Cashmere, a once green and beautiful area, hidden in Prospect Park. It now looks very abandoned and more like a swamp. I hope to go back during the summer to see how it looks with more green.

The Old American Stock Exchange near Wall Street in the Financial District. The place is right across from Trinity Church.

One of the sky bridges of the city, on one very scenic street in Tribeca.

Some of the early cherry blossoms, still white, on Governors Island.

Just a few of the bridges of Prospect Park

Cape May, New Jersey's 1800s homes and buildings. The beach was right across the street from the hotel.

An old bunker on the beach, World War II lookout tower, sunken ship and beach the last day at Cape May.

Thrift Store in an old church in Lynbrook, Long Island.

Some notable buildings from around Downtown Brooklyn, blossoms at Brooklyn Heights, and Shake Shack near the Brooklyn Bridge.

A very foggy and rainy day in the park and on the lake.

Walk over the Williamsburg Bridge to Williamsburg.

A visit to the Belvedere Castle of Central Park, and first time visit to a Germany bakery that's over 100 years old.
